Eldruna is a Nordic music project inspired by Norse mythology, Viking history and the ancient sagas of the North. It is the vessel for the voice of Tilda Skadi, who sings in the old tongue and breathes life into the myths, journeys and landscapes of the ancient world.
Eldruna sings in Icelandic, one of the world's oldest living languages, nearly unchanged since the age of the Vikings. Each song blends cinematic Nordic folk, ancient atmosphere and epic orchestral sound into visual storytelling.
Drawing from the Poetic Edda, Viking Age history and Scandinavian folklore, every release explores the legends, battles and beliefs that shaped the northern world. From Midgard to Valhalla, from the Varangian Guard to the coming of Ragnarok, each chapter captures a different piece of the North's enduring legacy.
All songs and videos are crafted with modern digital tools, produced by Michael Fuchs, so the old world can speak with a new voice.
Two voices, one North. Together with RAVNIR, Eldruna has forged a series of songs and the twin albums The Good. and The Bad., where modern soul meets ancient steel. Watch the official videos:
